About us

Product Tooling, Inc. was founded in 1968 by Robert L. Harp and Chester A. Wilson, two former employees of the Jaeger Machine Company. The joint venture began using the assests of Beck Machine and Tool on Union Street in Delaware, Ohio and a new building at the present location. After the passing of Chet Wilson in 1973, Product Tooling became a family business with Rodney J. Harp joining in 1972. Robert retired in 2002 at the age of 80. Rodney continued to expand the business and was soon joined by his son Rodney (Kurtis) Harp in 2005. Kurtis worked part time in the business, while earning his engineering degree from The Ohio State University.

Three generations and 45 years in the machine shop business has earned Product Tooling, Inc. the reputation as the premier job shop in the central Ohio area. Old-fashioned quality and service were what the business was founded on and is still the heart of our business.
